- Designed and developed backend-heavy microservices for the Outage Management System (OMS) and Low Voltage Management (LVM) platforms that electricity distribution operators relied on to detect, track, and resolve grid incidents in production.
- Architected event-driven and asynchronous processing pipelines on Kafka and BullMQ for real-time outage and low-voltage incident workflows, decoupling services so incident processing stays responsive under bursty, high-volume event load.
- Modeled hierarchical authorization and complex domain relationships as a graph in RedisGraph, propagated through Redis Pub/Sub — consolidating permission logic that had been scattered across services into a single queryable model.
- Optimized high-volume and recursive PostgreSQL queries over network topology, outage, and low-voltage datasets, where deep hierarchy traversal and query-plan tuning kept operational screens fast.
- Worked with geospatial network data using PostGIS and GeoServer (WMS, WFS, SLD) to support map-based representation of the electrical distribution network.
- Standardized logging, error tracking, and observability across services with Grafana and Prometheus, cutting the time needed to diagnose issues in a distributed environment.
- Integrated backend services with enterprise platforms, including SAP-based customer service and operational systems, ensuring reliable data exchange with surrounding business systems.
- Acted as a hands-on responder for production issues, debugging and stabilizing distributed systems across backend services, Kafka consumers, message queues, and frontend state layers.
- Built containerized development and deployment environments with Docker and Docker Compose, and supported CI/CD workflows through Jenkins, Rancher, and ArgoCD.
- Contributed to frontend modules in an Nx-based monorepo tightly coupled to backend domain logic, including backend–frontend state synchronization across a microfrontend architecture using MobX-based patterns.
